Legal Aid Program: Protecting Rights, Providing Pathways to Justice Content: Our Legal Aid Program is LCM’s core initiative for ensuring that everyone, especially the most vulnerable, has access to legal assistance. We work to protect human rights and provide effective pathways to justice, regardless of socio-economic status.

Operating a network of legal aid branch offices and community-based paralegal centers.
Providing legal counseling and case management.
Representing clients in litigation and court proceedings.
Facilitating Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) processes.
Developing and strengthening community paralegal capacities for local support.

Thematic Focus

This program addresses various critical legal issues including human rights violations, land and property disputes, domestic violence, labor issues, and general civil and criminal cases.

Program Impact

Since 2011, this program has significantly contributed to protecting rights and delivering justice, impacting thousands of lives across Myanmar:
